Just got back from my 36-week appointment, so here is a quick overview:
- Weight gain total: 31.5 pounds
- Uterus measurements: 36 cm
- Cervix status: closed
- Swelling: continues in my feet/ankles, so midwife wants me to elevate my feet above my heart every 2 hours for ~10-15 mins every day.
- Blood pressure: normal
- Joint pain: I have pain in my finger joints in the morning and then in my pelvic bone when I try to move to a different sleeping position in bed. It's not terrible, but it's there. Midwife is not worried - apparently relaxin is doing its job.
- Excitement of the day: we got a package in the mail from the store Peapods with 10 cloth diapers in it from my dad and Beth! Wahoo! We are excited!
