Memorial Weekend Up North: Going on 36 weeks

This weekend, we took one more "last hurrah" trip before we meet our little boy. We did what many Minnesotans do for Memorial Day - head up north.

We ventured to Longville and stayed with my Uncle Bill and Aunt Sue at their house on Wabedo Lake. I love it up there. Our family has a long history (that began with my grandpa) of going up to that lake, and I love that Eric likes it up there too. We can't wait to bring our little boy up there to go fishing, hiking, swimming...

Anyway, we got to spend Friday evening through Sunday afternoon up at the lake, and it was so nice to get out of town for a bit.

We ate some good food, visited with family, played Scrabble, saw my cousins play at a bar that sits on the shore of a neighboring lake, wandered around town (even hit up some Longville garage sales!), went fishing. It was lovely.
