18-19 months

Bath time! Emmett's favorite activity of all.

Emmett will be 19 months old this week. Crazy stuff. So I thought it was time to make another list of things that he is doing now. Last week, I actually updated his baby book (ummm...I hadn't done that since I was on maternity leave, so it was time). But even between last week and today, Emmett has added more skills to his list (namely words - he is repeating everything). So without further ado...here is an updated list of things Emmett can say/do now, along with some of his favorite past times.

A visit to Sea Life at the MOA with Mommy and Daddy -

 Daily routine:

• Wake up around 6:30-7 and cuddle with Mommy and Daddy for 15 mins (we are turning into tired old people)
• Change diaper, eat breakfast
• Watch Dora or other cartoons while Daddy reads the paper and Mommy gets ready for work
• Weekdays: Daddy drives Emmett to daycare (either the JCC or one of the Grandma's)
• Lunch and then nap around noon for 2-3 hours 
• Play and snack time
• Weekdays: Mommy picks Emmett up and we go home to eat an early dinner around 5-5:30 (yes, I told you we are like old people)
• Play more and then bath time (This kid is the cleanest one of us - he wants to take a bath more than Eric and I do. We keep telling him that's not what we do in our family. :))
• Read some books and off to bed around 7:30

When he's playing, he loves:

• Throwing balls all over the house 
• "Go" - where he runs around the house and yells "go go go!" - it's best if he is being chased
• pirate ship
• trains
• Mickey cell phone
• cars
• coloring or other "art" work
• play-doh!
• shape sorters
• containers - putting things in and out (he likes my DIY toys, like the oatmeal container with a hole in the top - he puts wine corks in and out...)
